Diplomate General Information Guide

Applications to sit for the 2026 ACT Exam are due December 1, 2025.

The General Information Guide (GIG) contains the current procedures and guidelines for individuals interested in becoming certified by the American College of Theriogenology (ACT). Each candidate must fulfill the requirements outlined in the General Information Guide (GIG) edition in effect at the time he/she registers with the ACT office at the beginning of his/her training program.

Deadlines to note:

• Alternate route requests for registration of the 104-week mentored study program – June 1 or December 1
• Credentials packet submission – December 1 
• Credentials packet submission (Re-application) – December 1 
• Submission of fee for credentials application or re-application – December 1
• Submission of fee for sitting the exam – April 15
