ACT Mentorship Program Registration

Alternate Route Registration

Candidates must have a minimum of six (6) years post-graduate (DVM or equivalent) experience with a major emphasis in Theriogenology including completion of a minimum of 104 weeks in an ACT-approved, mentored training program.

  1. Register as a Candidate of ACT within 90 days of starting an Residency or Mentorship Program
  2. Submit acceptable credentials to the College
  3. Complete all requirements
  4. Pass the Certifying Examination of the College
Graduate Degree Training Route

Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years post-DVM experience in addition to MSc degree, or a minimum of one (1) year post-DVM experience in addition to PhD degree. Post- DVM experience may include clinical practice, teaching or research but shall not include any activities performed while enrolled in the graduate program. 

  1. Graduate degree route trainees must submit a plan of study for review with the ACT office at least 90 days prior to beginning the 52- week mentored study program.
  2. Submit acceptable credentials to the College
  3. Complete all requirements
  4. Pass the Certifying Examination of the College

Online Reproductive Science & Health Course

The ACT is happy to facilitate a supplemental educational opportunity for its trainees. An online reproductive physiology course is  available through Auburn University, with access facilitated by the ACT.

This course is designed to provide a basis in reproductive physiology and can be taken at the trainee’s own pace within one year. There is an opportunity to chat with fellow classmates and a designated ACT monitor (Dr. Aime Johnson).

The cost of registration for the course is $125 for a year of access. 

Registration will open October 1, 2025.
